About Us

Carla Heiney

Carla Heiney Carla has danced repeatedly for artisits such as "The Queen of Soul," Miss Aretha Franklin, and for "National Concert Maestro," Erich Kunzel. She has performed for the National PBS Memorial Day Celebration (1999, 2000) and for The Capital Fourth Celebration (1999) where she danced alongside celebrated greats such as Rita Moreno, James Naughton, and Nell Carter.

She has been featured in several national publications such as 5-6-7-8 Dance Magazine, Time Life - Year in Review, and Bombshell 2001 (Miss September). She has also appreared on The Today Show (November 2000) where she performed with the award winning Hop Swing and a Jump team.

Carla teaches and performs regularly all over North America and Europe. In 2003, she will be traveling to Australia and Korea to both teach and perform Lindy Hop.
